Frequently Asked Questions
A DEXA Body Comp scan takes 6-12 minutes. When you arrive to your appointment we will get some information from you to feed into the scanner. You will then lay on the table and we will strap your feet to a box to ensure that you are positioned correctly. During the scan you will lay still while both the table and the scanning arm slowly move to get every part of your body.
